Anchorage Wedding Photography – Damien & Shaun: Before, During, & Formals of Ceremony

Anchorage Wedding Photography – Damien & Shaun:  Before, During, & Formals of Ceremony from Cooper Landing.

Here’s the long anticipated Before, During, & Formals of Ceremony.  Once all the photos are edited, you can purchase individual photos , photobooks, or buy the whole wedding on disc with the high-resolution photo.  They will all be available in our store.  I would check back by the end of September, if you’re interested. =)

Damien & Shaun’s wedding reception photography

Here is a quick peek at Damien & Shaun’s wedding reception.  Life has been busy of late, so I apologize to those who were waiting to see the photos on the blog.  I will work on getting the photos up from the ceremony & formals later this evening (they’re on the other computer).    Enjoy!

Anchorage Engagement Photography – Mike & Savannah

Here’s a look at Mike & Savannah’s Engagement Photography .  It was fun photographing them because I’ve known Mike for over 10 years now & Savannah for a couple of years.  When they first got together, they lit up each others’ worlds & it’s a great joy to see them taking their relationship to the next level.  I’m looking forward to many more years of knowing them & seeing them grow.  =)

Anchorage Wedding Photography: Mike & Tamara – May 29, 2011

Here’s a quick look at the  wedding photography from Mike & Tamara’s wedding.  They are a fun couple – Mike had some great expression & reactions & Tamara is super sweet and an awesome couple.  I wish the best for them. =)  Enjoy the photographs

Anchorage Engagement Photography – Eryn & Jordan

Anchorage Engagement Photography of Eryn & Jordan took place at the Cuddy Midtown Park next to the Lousac Library.  I really have fallen in love with this location for portrait shoots – it’s hardly windy, has a great variety of backgrounds, & is in midtown – close no matter what part of town you’re in.    These two were a ton of fun, as Eryn has a wonderfully goofy & fun personality.  Jordan, no rookie to photoshoots, shared an interesting experience of having been a wrist watch model.  I had met with Eryn beforehand to discuss wedding photography with her before they had to move it to an out-of-state location, and I how outgoing & happy she always was.  You don’t have to look too far in these pictures to see her cheerful personality showing. =)  Enjoy their engagement photography!

Anchorage Alaska Wedding Photography – Joe & Elizabeth – part 2

Here’s round two of the wedding photography taken at Joe & Elizabeth’s wedding.  There were so many great moments from their

wedding – these two posts are just the beginning. Enjoy.

Anchorage Alaska Wedding Photography – Joe & Elizabeth – part 1

Here’s a little preview of the wedding photography taken at Joe & Elizabeth’s wedding.  If I take just one thing away from this wedding, it is that these two people love & cherish each other.  It was so evident throughout the day their joy from being united. =)  What a wonderful experience it was to be there with these two wonderful people who I know have chosen & will continue to be with each other the rest of their lives!   On the photography side of things, they were a ton of fun for wedding photography as they were willing to do whatever & have a lot of fun doing it too! =)  Their smiles, fun personalities & crazy antics helped me run through all of my cards & 70 GB worth of photos in just 5 hours!   More to come in another post, as there were too many photos for this blog to handle!  Enjoy

Anchorage Family Portraits – Huffords round #2

This is the second set of Family Portraits from the Hufford family.  Their son had a much better time being inside & running around in the play area.  The stairs were easily his favorite as this 18 month old conquered the world by reaching the top!  The family was a joy to work with & we are praying them the best as he is headed overseas to serve our country in Afghanistan for the third time.

Anchorage Alaska Engagement Photography – Andrew & Krystal

Andrew & Krystal were real troopers.  It was February & we chose Beluga Point as our location for engagement photography – too windy.  So we moved to McHugh Creek – Normally wind covered & perfect – again too windy.  We did take some photos there, but we were all soo cold to the bone – so we moved over to the Anchorage museum & had a wonderful time being warm…. (& taking photos). =)

Enjoy!

Anchorage Family Portrait Photography: Huffords

This is a little quick preview of the first half of the family portrait session with the Huffords.  The day we chose ended up being a blustery-cold day & even though we moved our shooting location to the rather wind-protected location of  McHugh Creek (rather than Beluga Point), the wind still got to us & made it C-C-Cold!!!  Having a 1.5 year old & cold winds, made it a tough day for the little man & not the happiest portrait subject in the world.  Thankfully, we caught a couple of family portraits at the very beginning of the photography session with big smiles on his face!

Part two will be coming up later & will be photos taken inside the museum.  He was a much happier subject then, other than wanting to continually go back & conquer the stairs one more time! =)

Enjoy!
