All of our wedding photography and portrait packages include professional touch-up, editing and special effect, high resolution digital .jpg files for personal reproduction, and photos will be posted online for friends and family to order prints (or simply peruse).
In addition to all of this, we will provide a complimentary engagement photography session with any package that is 6 or more hours. This is an excellent value, as a typical portrait or engagement photo session costs $350/session.
Will I receive digital files from a portrait, senior picture or engagement photography session?
Yes! You will receive the best picture(s) of each pose. There are no hidden sitting fee costs or reproduction fees. No need to order reprints for yourself. The price is set at a level so that it is affordable for you & you can choose where you would like to have your photos developed.
What is your style?
We have lots of fun creating artistic, creative, and fun shots. Artistic photography includes creative angles, lines, patterns, textures, and lighting make amazing photos. We love capturing people’s natural emotions and expressions. In order to create the most natural looking photographs we try to stay out of the spotlight or ordering people around. We’re always there to capture the action and events going on.
We often get compliments from the wedding party & guests about how impressed they are with us doing our best to create great shots from the different angles and areas. We do our best to be quiet, respectful, and courteous. We have never had anyone complain that we interfered with the wedding or that we were rude. To the contrary, we are often appreciated for our professionalism and respect.
Do you use Black & White or just color?
Our artistic and creative wedding photography style often includes more post production to stylize the photos using effects such as black and white, sepia, soft focus, glow, black and white w/ just a specific section colored, etc. Using these techniques appropriately can mean amazing photography.
However, if you’re not interested in receiving just color or b & w, that is a possibility, and will not cost any extra money.
Do you use digital or film cameras?
Digital Photography or Film photography can be a huge deal for some people. In reality, there shouldn’t be a big dispute about it. Both are great mediums for capturing photographs. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I have chosen to use digital for portrait and wedding photography because of its many advantages over traditional film photography.
Digital photography is now at a level that is on par with or even better than regular film photography. Digital photography lends itself to greater flexibility, artistic expression, increased workflow, ease of use, ability to edit. All of this is in the hopes of creating the best photographs for you.
The biggest advantages of digital wedding photography to you will be that more pictures can be taken on your wedding day. We typically average 1000-2500 pictures for each photographer on an 8 hour wedding day. Which would be too costly to take that many pictures using film. So, it is a huge advantage to you that we use digital so that you can have a larger wedding album. =)
Do we get the full size digital image files or reduced size?
You will receive full size .jpg files that you can be used for making enlargements, prints, or posting online. You are given a license for unlimited personal reproductions of the photos. =)
Do I have to order through you?
No, you are able to take your photos to any professional or consumer photography labs for developing photos. With each wedding, an online gallery will be creating with the photographs on display for family and friends to view the photos and order if they would like. We keep our ordering prices low so that more people can receive great memories from your special day.
Do you photograph formal shots of family and friends?
Yes! We will photograph any group, couple, or individual photographs you would like taken. The greatest thing about all of our packages is that you'll receive copies of all of the photos. So, any pictures you would like taken at your wedding you will receive them on your disc. There's no extra costs to have a picture of you and Uncle Billy. =)
Do you travel ? Are there extra costs?
Yes! We do Travel! We love to visit new places to photograph beautiful locations. It is a joy and a privelege to be invited along to new and exciting locations. Many times there are no extra travel fees to travel in Alaska. If fees are required, they will be kept as minimal as possible. =)
How much is the deposit?
A deposit of ½ of your total package will reserve the date & time that you would like.

Please call 317.5713 or you can email: info@sweetactionphotography.com in order to check date availability. Once you’ve found out we’re available for your wedding day, we will lineup all of the details by email, phone, or in person.
Please remember: a deposit of 1/2 the total package price will reserve your wedding date. You will not need to pay the other half until you pick up your dvd of files of wedding photos.
